A BOOK CLUB ZOOMS INTO A BAR
YOU’RE INVITED TO THE FIFTH SESSION OF OUR BOOK CLUB, WHERE LAMPLIGHTER, THE CAMBRIDGE PUBLIC LIBRARY, AND ALL SHE WROTE BOOKSTORE (SOMERVILLE, MA) TEAM UP TO HIGHLIGHT CONTEMPORARY WORKS FROM MARGINALIZED VOICES.
This month, we’ll read Butter Honey Pig Bread by Francesca Ekwuyasi. This novel spans three continents to tell the interconnected stories of three women of the African Diaspora, with hints of magic and of queerness.
We'll meet over zoom to discuss, and taste beer, at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, 4/13. We'll send you the link to that on Monday 4/12.
To register: there are several ticket options available, now that we have a bookstore on our team! See options and pickup details below. We'll send out an email to all registrants with the below information + specific pickup instructions.
*We highly recommend purchasing beer with your rsvp to this event, just like you would at an in-person brewery book club! However, if the beer price feels inaccessible at the moment, please don't hesitate to register for a free ticket.
