Apollo 12’s Tomorrowland will explore the perilous moments and pinpoint milestones of our second trip to the moon.
A few months between “the Eagle has landed,” and “Houston we have a problem,” three friends quietly had the time of their lives on the moon—while moving the entire Apollo program forward in the process. Our presenter, Nick Partridge, from the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum and host of the podcast AirSpace, will discuss the mission, how it’s been remembered in books and on film, and why every trip to the moon began in Waltham, MA.
