The internationally acclaimed piano team of Anthony and Joseph Paratore will be making a highly anticipated return to the Boston area on November 3rd, with an exciting program to be given at the Dante Alighieri Society in Cambridge. For decades, the Paratore brothers have thrilled audiences and impressed critics across the globe with their brilliant virtuosity and solid musicianship. Their acclaimed recitals for both two pianos and piano, four hands, showcase their vast and diverse repertoire. Much in demand as guest artists with major symphony orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony and San Francisco Symphony, they have collaborated with illustrious conductors such as Boulez, Ozawa, Salonen, Zinman and Solti.

The Paratores are natives of Boston, where they began their musical training. Although they concertized throughout the world, the Paratores particularly enjoy returning to Boston to perform for friends, and many fans throughout area.

The November 3rd concert for two pianos, will include the Paratore’s own, delightful transcription of Gershwin’s classic “Rhapsody in Blue,’ as well as arrangements of music by the immortal jazz composer Dave Brubeck, with whom they enjoyed a close artistic relationship.
