Annual Samuel Adams Crafting Dreams Beer Bash to Select Next Top Craft Brewer

Brewing the American Dream, Samuel Adams’ priority philanthropic program that provides mentorship and capital to food and beverage entrepreneurs, is proud to announce its third annual Crafting Dreams Beer Bash, taking place for the very first time in Boston on June 7th. The event celebrates the shared passion of craft beer and the craft brewers that keep it alive, bringing together six finalists for the Brewing & Business Experienceship. Limited tickets are available for beer lovers to join Samuel Adams experts in meeting the finalists, hearing their stories, and tasting their brews before casting a vote for the 2024 Experienceship winner.

Since 2012, the Brewing & Business Experienceship has recognized and supported craft brewers nationwide by selecting one lucky brewer each year to come to Boston Brewery, work side-by-side with a team of experts and mentors, learn the craft and business of brewing, and collaborate on a specialty beer with Samuel Adams. The annual initiative is inspired by Samuel Adams founder, Jim Koch, who first ignited the craft beer revolution 40 years ago.

Coming home to Boston for the very first time, back where it all began for Jim Koch and his dream, this year’s Crafting Dreams Beer Bash proudly welcomes a diverse group of brewers from all across the country, including:

• Back Unturned (San Antonio, TX)
• Crowns & Hops (Inglewood, CA)
• Dokkaebier (Oakland, CA)
• Dublin Corners (Linwood, NY)
• Khonso Brewing (Atlanta, GA)
• Providence Brewing (Providence, RI)

In addition to incredible storytelling and free-flowing beer, the event will feature tasty eats from local food vendors in the Brewing the American Dream network, including JAA Patty, Little Truc, Top Shelf Cookies, Bri’s Sweet Treats, and donuts from Sarcastic Sweets in honor of National Donut Day!

Jim Koch first brewed Samuel Adams in his kitchen in 1984 and in his pursuit of a better beer, he ignited the craft beer movement, inspiring a whole new beer category that's produced millions of jobs in communities from coast-to-coast. Jim launched the Brewing the American Dream philanthropic program in 2008 to give back to the community in which he started and help small business owners and fellow craft brewers pursue their passion and achieve their American Dream.

Since then, Samuel Adams has supported its nonprofit lending partners in providing over 4,300 loans totaling more than $107 million to food and beverage entrepreneurs across the country. Just as important, the program has provided business coaching and advising to more than 15,000 people. The businesses supported by this program have created or retained more than 11,500 jobs in their local communities.
