Evie Salon Studio is excited to host Surface Painting in July and August. The paintings in the exhibition are co-created by a pair of artists, childhood friends Annie Blazejack and Geddes Levenson. In a call-and-response fashion, the painters explore two landscapes that always exist right next to each other: just above and just below the surface of water. The results are a colorfully fluid, sometimes humorous world where images both sublimely calm (floating swimmers) and inherently eerie (alligators and sharks!) co-exist in a shallow utopia. Don’t miss the opening this Thursday July 13th, 6:30- 8:30 pm!


On view through August 31. Light refreshments will be served.
