Anna’s Taqueria Rolls onto Summer Street October 21 with 1995-Priced “Super” Burritos

Anna’s Taqueria – the iconic brand that has been delivering warm bundles of burritos, tacos and quesadillas as well as heaping Mexican bowls and salads since 1995 – will open its doors October 21 in Boston’s Downtown Crossing neighborhood. To welcome guests to its newest home and as a continued celebration of its 30th anniversary, Anna’s Summer Street location will be dishing out their legendary 12” “super” burritos at its original 1995 pricing, $3.50* per oversized bundle of love, on October 21.

Located on the corner of Summer and Devonshire Street, the new Boston outpost features a bright and welcoming 1,800 square-foot dining space complete with counter, table and booth seating options for 49 guests. Anna’s Taqueria – the fast-casual Mexican restaurant enveloped in warm hospitality and vibrant flavors – carefully prepares every order using only the finest and freshest ingredients including a collection of authentically prepared protein options like birria, steak roja, chile verde, carnitas, al pastor and more. Additionally Anna’s Taqueria on Summer Street will serve the new chimichurri steak taco creation that debuts brand-wide on National Taco Day (October 7) for a limited time, as well as its new plant-based chorizo protein option.

Just in time for the fall season, guests will be delighted to see an Anna’s cult favorite on the menu, Horchata, the sweet and frothy traditional Mexican drink made fresh daily from peanuts, tree nuts, rice, milk and cinnamon. Anna’s Taqueria also has full catering capabilities for corporate events, business luncheons, special occasions and more.

Anna’s Taqueria has celebrated a bundle of new openings over the past year, in Woburn (November 2024), on Northeastern University’s campus (February 2025), and in Natick (May 2025). Following Summer Street, the brand is slated to unveil locations in additional Greater Boston communities with imminent openings planned at Legacy Place in Dedham, and in South Boston. Additionally, Anna’s Taqueria will make its entry into the Ocean State with a location in Cranston, RI, by the close of the year.
