Born into a musical family, Anna Harris is an active soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, and teacher, and has performed in beloved venues such as Benaroya Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, and the Brevard Music Center. Past performance highlights include performing Zigeunerweisen with the Tacoma Young Artists Orchestra, which was reviewed as “electrifying” and “breathtaking” by the Tacoma Arts blog. Anna recently graduated from Boston University School of Music where she studied with Dana Mazurkevich.
In 2020, Anna completed a tenure as an Artist-in-Residence at the Boston Medical Center. Throughout her residency, she created moments with music that contributed to the positive wellbeing of many facing extraordinary challenges in their lives. She enjoys fusing traditional classical repertoire with elements of jazz and romanticism to create a unique and accessible sound. Outside of performing, Anna is very involved in the nonprofit arts sector, and currently works as the Development Associate at the Boston Public Library Fund.
