Emmy Award-winning chef, cookbook author, restaurateur, and more — Eataly partner and beloved chef Lidia Bastianich gives us plenty of reasons to celebrate! On Thursday, February 3rd, we are excited to spend an extra special evening with Lidia at Eataly Boston. Hosted by the chef herself, this class will feature a menu curated by Lidia in collaboration with Eataly Boston's Executive Chef, Courtney Higgins. Chef Courtney will demonstrate how to make three of Lidia’s favorite recipes from her latest book Lidia’s A Pot, A Pan, and A Bowl. As you savor each bite, Lidia will be sharing her insights about the menu, cooking secrets and reflections from her newest cookbook. As no Italian meal is complete without wine, our beverage expert will pour perfectly-paired wines to complement the menu.
In this class guests will:
Spend an intimate evening with Lidia as she presents her latest cookbook: Lidia’s A Pot, A Pan, and A Bowl
Take home a copy of Lidia’s A Pot, A Pan, and A Bowl, included in the class ticket price ($29.95 retail value)
Enjoy three-course prix-fixe menu, paired with wines selected by our beverage experts
Observe as Eataly Boston's executive chef demonstrates how to make three of Lidia’s dishes, step-by-step
Please note: Each ticket includes (1) copy of Lidia’s A Pot, A Pan, and A Bowl. Book is non-refundable and non-returnable. Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes. Seating: Seating is communal and first come, first served. We do not reserve seating. Please note, class includes demonstration and tasting and is not hands-on. All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce a valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older.
ABOUT LIDIA’S A POT, A PAN, AND A BOWL: From the beloved TV chef and best-selling author—her favorite recipes for flavorful, no-fuss Italian food that use just one or two pots and pans. The companion cookbook to the public-television series Lidia’s Kitchen: Home Cooking.
Lidia Bastianich—”doyenne of Italian cooking” (Chicago Times)—makes Italian cooking easy for everyone with this new, beautifully designed, easy-to-use cookbook. Here are more than 100 homey, simple-to-prepare recipes that require fewer steps and fewer ingredients (not to mention fewer dirty pots and pans!), without sacrificing any of their flavor.
