American Rendezvous - Parkour Workshop & Event

American Rendezvous is back! Come join this national event which brings together coaches and participants from across the globe for a weekend of shared experiences and training.

TIMES & LOCATIONS
- Friday June 23rd - Sunday June 25
- The event schedule will be sent to registered partcipants and posted on the registration page.

WHAT TO EXPECT
- Two and a half days (16+ hours) of coaching from some of the world's most experienced parkour / freerunning / Art du Déplacement instructors hailing from around the world.
- Modules and specialist sessions covering a range of parkour-related topics including modules about strength & conditioning, recovery and recuperation, nutrition, mental training, and the spiritual/philosophical side of training. Plus a few surprises!
- A full day of training on a giant indoor setup plus a full day of training at some of Boston's best parkour spots.
- Discounted food from local vendors and sponsors.
- An awesome weekend of training and fun!

AGES
While the full weekend is only available for participants age 14-70+, Saturday 6/24 will be open to ages 8-13yo and there will be a whole "Kids Zone" as well as a special schedule for our younger athletes.

TRANSPORT
To the Event
Participants will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the events sites. There is an efficient and inexpensive public transport network within Boston and all sites will be easily accessible via public transportation.

FAQ
I've never done parkour before, is ARDV a good place for me to start?
- YES! This is probably one of the best places in the world to learn parkour as you will have lots of very experienced coaches from around the world on hand to lead you through the basics. Groups will be separated based on experience level and energy level at various times throughout the event to help make sure that everyone is challenged.

I've been training for a while, is ARDV a good event for me to attend?
- Yes, the event will have traceurs from all around the country coming together to train and share their love of movement. Groups will be separated based on experience level and energy level at various times throughout the event to help make sure that everyone is challenged.

Is there an age limit to enter the event?
- While the full weekend is only accessible to ages 14+ and a select number of younger advanced practitioners, a number of parts of the event will be designed for kids ages 8-13yo.

Is there a discount for groups?
- Yes, there is a discount for groups of 4 or more people coming from out-of-town. Consult the registration tab or contact [email protected] for more details.

What should I bring to ARDV?
- Weather appropriate clothing (for summer in New England). Sweatpants, shorts, t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, light jacket (a spare t-shirt is recommended, you will sweat... a lot)
- Water bottle
- Snacks to maintain energy levels (dried fruit, nuts, sports drinks recommended)
- A small backpack to store gear and valuables (Parkour Generations Americas and the venues will not be held responsible for the safekeeping of valuables).

- All registrations are non-refundable.
