The always-charming Lyle Railsback is returning to kick off the holiday early and we’re celebrating Alsatian style!

Why – because Alsace produces some of arguably THE best wines in the world, and most wine drinkers don’t know about them! Not only are the wines lush and delicious, but they are great options for your holiday table. This event is extra special because we’re sharing some super limited gems from two top producers, and some are even first time in MA and you can only taste them here!

We'll be tasting a line up of same grape from each producer - the traditionalist Albert Boxler, and the revolutionary Domaine Ostertag! Jean Boxler is a 3rd generation winemaker, using traditional techniques and savoir faire passed down through generations. His family migrated from Switzerland in the 1600s, but it wasn't until after Jean's grandfather Albert returned from WWII that they started producing wine eponymously (and the label today is that same as the original designed by Albert's cousin). In contrast is the revolutionary winemaker André Ostertag, who is a second generation winemaker who recently passed the reigns to his son Arthur. This domaine pushing the boundaries of local traditions and appellation rules, constantly experimenting to coax the ultimate expression of terroir from their sites.

Our host and friend Lyle Railsback is a man who wears many hats – he is a winemaker with his brother in Santa Barbara under the label Railsback Frères, National Portfolio Manager of Kermit Lynch Imports, arguably the top importer of French and Italian wines, and an artist (he designs the Railsback wine labels)

This is a ticketed event - $95 all inclusive of the wine flight of 9 wines and 5 food courses!
