Join us at Allstonway for a microgreen workshop with North Allston Farms where you will prep, plant, and learn how to grow for your own microgreens for a fun farm/apartment window to table food source!
The event will host two workshops starting at 5:45 PM and 6:30 PM. Supplies are limited.
Microgreens have a short, 10-day grow cycle and are a powerful way to empower people to grow their own food. This hands-on workshop offers participants a fun, educational, and interactive experience while providing the tools and knowledge to grow microgreens successfully at home.
Participants will:
1. Learn the basics of microgreens and their health benefits.
2. Participate in an interactive tasting session of four microgreen varieties.
3. Discover how easy it is to incorporate microgreens into everyday meals
4. Engage in a planting activity and take home a mini tray with detailed care instructions.
