Join All She Wrote Books on Thursday, March 26th at 6:30pm, as we host reproductive rights advocate, baker and author Becca Rea-Tucker and author of Killers of Roe, Amy Littlefield! They will discuss Becca's debut book, The Abortion Companion, a warm, accepting, non-judgmental, and stigma-free companion for your abortion journey.

"Inclusivity" isn't just a buzzword to us. We make every effort to ensure our space and events are accessible to and for everyone. If you or someone in your party needs accommodations, please email us at [email protected].

About The Abortion Companion

Whether you’re planning to have an abortion soon or you had one thirty years ago, whether you’re feeling relief or grief (or both!), and even if you haven’t decided yet and just want to untangle how you feel about it, this book is a safe and supportive resource.

With an emphasis on self-compassion, it collects reflection prompts, affirmations, conversation scripts, logistical info, self-care tips, and much more to validate and support you no matter where you fall in the full spectrum of experiences of people who have abortions. Bolstered by beautiful illustrations and the caring, confident support of author and reproductive rights advocate Becca Rea-Tucker, this book will meet you wherever you are and offer guidance for every step of your journey.

About the Authors

Becca Rea-Tucker is a reproductive rights advocate, baker, and author whose work merges activism and dessert. Through her platform @TheSweetFeminist, she shares resources and writing that challenge shame and anti-abortion misinformation. Her work explores stigma, self-compassion, and bodily autonomy. She is also the author of the cookbook Baking by Feel. She lives in Austin, TX with her husband, daughter, and dog.

Amy Littlefield has reported on abortion rights for more than a decade. She is the abortion access correspondent for The Nation. She has contributed to The New York Times Opinion section and wrote the Times' Sunday Review cover story "Where the Pro-Choice Movement Went Wrong." She is a frequent commentator on abortion for TV and radio news outlets and podcasts, including MSNBC and Democracy Now! Littlefield was a lead reporter and narrator on episodes for Reveal, the national investigative journalism show. She lives in Boston with her family.
