Join us in the Griffin Zoom room for a conversation with artist Alanna Airitam to discuss her project The Golden Age from 2017. On view in Sanborn House and Historical Society from July 18th-September 1st, The Golden Age beautifully reimagines the artist’s peers as sitters for Dutch Golden Age portraits, calling attention to and filling the gaps in art-historical representation. We are thrilled to hear from the artist as they discuss the project’s original scope and exhibition here in Winchester.
Join us online in the Griffin Zoom Room on August 29th at 7pm Eastern / 4pm Pacific to hear about their inspiration and see the work they have created.
This event is FREE to Griffin Museum members. $10 for Non Members.
