Air Out Your Laundry provides a culturally-sensitive gathering space for Caribbean Bostonians to collectively participate in culture-keeping and co-create to uplift Caribbean culture and heritage.


Program attendees will participate in reflective exercises to generate memories and creative ideas about their relationship to Caribbean culture. They will then create a work of art on a blank white t-shirt that documents their lived experience in Boston as a person of Caribbean ancestry.


The t-shirts will later become elements of a future public art installation centered around care, celebrations of Caribbean culture, and spurring civic action towards a stronger community.
