William James College will host a panel discussion on the book “Aging Wisely: Wisdom of our Elders” which features the published work of William James College faculty members. The panel will feature excerpt readings by the following William James College faculty:
• Julie Ryan, PhD
• Bruce Ecker, PhD
• Jason Osher, PhD
• Aladdin Ossorio, PsyD
• Erlene Rosowsky, PsyD, FGSA
• Shyamala Venkataraman, PhD

Written by Irving Silverman and Ellen Beth Siegel, JD, PsyD, “Aging Wisely” brings together the ideas, opinions and experiences of senior citizens. The stories within the book each provide a unique perspective into the physical, emotional, and social aspects of growing old from elders themselves. Each story ends with questions correlated to the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) Core Competencies. The book’s co-authors will join to the panel to answer questions.

This event is free and open to the public. Lunch and refreshments will be served.
