What's that screaming through the night sky? Is it a bird, a plane, or--a FLYING CANOE? Join us on Sunday, December 9th at the Armory Cafe in Somerville, and find out! We are the AFTer Hours Adult Folktale Telling series, and we continue our Second Sunday series with an uncensored version of La Chasse-Galerie. 18+ only
No cover charge - food and drinks available for purchase at the Cafe!

It is New Year's Eve in the North Country, and the dismal voyageurs are camped in the snow and dreaming of their sweethearts back in Quebec. But the Man In Black will touch their canoe with magic to fly to the New Year's dance--if they make a Devil's bargain. Join the festive guignolée with this participatory retelling of the great-grandpère of Canadian folktales spiced with French-Canadian songs and tunes for the holiday season!
