Aeronaut Allston: Copilot & Florie Namir, GoPetie

Dear friends –– it's been a long, cold, lonely winter but we're thrilled to announce...

AERONAUT Allston is back!!!

It's our third season of free, outdoor, family-friendly musical beer gardens at Zone 3's hub of activity, 267 Western Ave in Allston, and we have loads of new stuff to reveal this year!

The series features live music and performances by emerging local artists, the best local food trucks, and great beer! This year AERONAUT will help Zone 3 open its awesome new outdoor community program and performance space. It’s an upgrade from the blacktop parking lot of the past two years - but it still feels like home!

AERONAUT Allston takes place every WEDNESDAY (5-9:30pm) and FRIDAY (5-11pm) night, June 1 to September 28 at Zone 3 (267 Western Ave).

This season will highlight...
--community collaborations!
--exclusive, only-in-Allston beers!
--a rotating lineup of Boston's top food trucks!
--the best of emerging and established Boston-area performers and bands!

Zone 3 is a Harvard-sparked initiative to further activate and energize Western Ave with creative programs, events, and retail. More info: Zone3WesternAve.com

FEATURED MUSICAL ACTS for WED JUNE 6

Copilot (6pm)
This gifted duo are one of our favorite new groups to welcome to the beer garden this season!

In-your-face. Energetic. Powerful. Catchy. Melodic. Refreshing. Versatile vocals drive the band: a soulful ache, a ferocious howl, a buttery croon. Instrumental camaraderie is important too: foot-stomping percussion, quiet guitar lines, twinkling rhythms. Copilot’s real talent lies in skillfully mixing and matching these elements to cultivate the perfect package of retro-pop goodness that does not just suggest repeat playings but demands it.

Florie Namir (7:30pm)
Tel Aviv born jazz-pop artist Florie Namir played our taproom for the first time this past April and was a huge hit! She writes infectious pop songs and is easily one of Boston's top emerging talents.

Florie's a sensitive soul who finds comfort and empowerment in anything music, from writing symphonic works to fronting a rock-soul band. She followed her passion across the world to the U.S. to earn a PhD in classical composition. After exclusively wearing a classical hat, Florie took part in a variety of projects as a performer, like Israeli art song, Russian opera, and jazz standards. These experiences and travels along with personal heartbreaks nurtured an output of autobiographical songwriting, launching Florie's career as solo singer-songwriter.
