Dear friends –– it's been a long, cold, lonely winter but we're thrilled to announce...
AERONAUT Allston is back!!!
It's our third season of free, outdoor, family-friendly musical beer gardens at Zone 3's hub of activity, 267 Western Ave in Allston, and we have loads of new stuff to reveal this year!
The series features live music and performances by emerging local artists, the best local food trucks, and great beer! This year AERONAUT will help Zone 3 open its awesome new outdoor community program and performance space. It’s an upgrade from the blacktop parking lot of the past two years - but it still feels like home!
AERONAUT Allston takes place every WEDNESDAY (5-9:30pm) and FRIDAY (5-11pm) night, June 1 to September 28 at Zone 3 (267 Western Ave).
This season will highlight...

--exclusive, only-in-Allston beers!
--a rotating lineup of Boston's top food trucks!
--the best of emerging and established Boston-area performers and bands!

FEATURED MUSICAL ACTS for FRI JUNE 1
OOMPA (7pm)
Returning to the beer garden after absolutely crushing it last summer, one of Boston's great rapper-spoken word-stage divas is going to kick off the summer and break in the new stage with electrifying passion!
Oompa is a 2017 Women of the World Poetry Slam champion, and a finalist at the 2016 National Poetry Slam. She has been featured in Huffington Post, Boston Globe, Boston Herald, NPR Boston’s The ARTery, Vanyaland, among others. Oompa's debut album, November 3rd, was named one of Dig Boston's Top 30 Local Albums of 2016 and one of Allston Pudding’s Favorite albums of 2016. With sounds often compared to that of Lauryn Hill and J. Cole, she was nominated for New Artist of the Year at the 2017 Boston Music Awards, and was named one of the Boston Herald’s New Favorites of 2018.
WHAT CHEER? BRIGADE (9pm)
This raucous band of brass-playing hooligans is making the trek up from Providence, RI and will amp the party up to 11. As featured in NPR!

FEMS - Feminine Empowerment Movement Slam
FEMS is a community based grassroots initiative.
We aim to be radically accessible. We welcome people of all ages, incomes, races, genders, sexual orientations and abilities. We seek venues that are accessible to those with limited mobility. We aim to provide accommodations for the who are deaf and hard of hearing community. We want to create a supportive space where people feel like they have a voice. We aim to cultivate the the power we access in spaces that hold us at the center.
