This workshop consists of material and guided improvisations, calling upon a commitment to physical listening and imagery. Class starts with floor work sequences that gradually increase in speed and complexity, offering opportunities to exercise strength and curiosity. Building to vertical we fold, fall, and fail through space. Shorter exercises and crossings rev us up to a final phrase that highlights momentum, fluency in and out of the floor, and power. Movers are encouraged to assert creative agency with modifications to best suit their structures and comfort.
