This Month's Theme: Healthy Eating
Overview: Given the current times, it's easy to get caught in an endless cycle of takeout and leftovers, then takeout again. Maybe you want to cook at home but don't know how, or maybe you can cook but aren't sure what recipe to try next. Join us for this workshop as part of our Adulting 101 series, where we'll be discussing ways to kick those unhealthy habits and how to better fuel your body. Learn how to get the most out of your trip to the grocery store and discover tasty, nutritious options you may not have even heard of. Ever tried chocolate hummus? Yup, that's a thing!
What You’ll Take Away: Attendees will leave the adulting workshop with the knowledge and tools to plan and create healthier meal options to better fit their lifestyle and goals.
Why It Matters: It's easy to feel stuck when you aren't treating your body well, and healthy eating is an excellent place to start making a change. Understanding nutrition is a lifelong skill, and can often be the starting point towards healthier patterns. Spending more time in the kitchen can be extremely therapeutic and is great for both physical and mental health. Why do you think so many people have been baking bread lately?
