ADVANCE YOUR SPOKEN ENGLISH with
ACCENT MODIFICATION FOR NON-NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS
This 5 week course offers the benefit of both one-on-one and group instruction. Designed for non-native speakers who use English daily in their professional and personal lives, you’ll learn strategies for speaking more effectively, and how to fine tune your spoken English delivery.
Each week you’ll receive 1 hour of one-on-one practice online with your instructor Dr. Christi Barb, as well as 2 hours of in-person group instruction focused on:
- Presentation and Public Speaking: Improve your confidence as you practice speaking about the topics most important to you in a supportive, non-judgmental environment, with immediate actionable feedback from your instructor and fellow students.
- Advanced ear-training: Make the world your classroom as you learn how to properly observe and analyze the speech of native speakers.
- Peer-to-peer mentoring: Gain insights and share strategies with classmates, letting their experiences guide you as you progress toward your own speech goals.
Accelerate your learning by putting skills into practice with other people. Identify and address the specific obstacles holding back your spoken English skills. Limited to just 8 participants, seats will fill quickly. Registration and pre-payment is required.
