At ABA Centers of America, we aim to change the lives of our kiddos and their families by providing the gold standard in autism care, as well as enriching experiences that they might not have access to otherwise.
We’re inviting Massachusetts area families impacted by autism to join us for a free sensory-friendly movie screening of the new Super Mario Bros. Movie at AMC Burlington Cinema 10 on Saturday, April 15.
What can you expect during this sensory-friendly movie? The lights will remain on, the volume will be lower, and the “golden rule” of remaining silent during the movie doesn’t apply.
We’re hosting this event as part of our “More Than Divergent” campaign for Autism Acceptance Month, which rallies individuals within the autism community to swap out the “divergent” in the word neurodivergent with an adjective they feel better represents how they define their own developmental uniqueness.
There will be a “More Than Divergent” t-shirt decoration station at the theater to keep the kiddos entertained before the movie starts. Kiddos will also be treated to a kid’s pack of popcorn and beverage of their choice!
RSVP is mandatory for this event and seating will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
