Northeastern University's College of Arts, Media and Design has been selected as the host for the 5th annual, national gathering of the Alliance for the Arts in Research Universities (a2ru). The 2017 conference will use the city of Boston as a starting point to discuss creative placemaking and the creation of dynamic communities that engage and extend beyond traditional boundaries – in both virtual and material ways.
