Nestled in the mountains of Liguria, the Boeri family has been making some of our favorite olive oil for over 100 years. Recently featured on the Netflix show "Salt Fat Acid Heat," the Boeris have been friends to Formaggio Kitchen for over 25 years. Join Paolo Boeri for a very special evening exploring the rich cuisine and culture of Liguria. Learn how his family uses traditional methods to carefully harvest delicate Taggiasca olives, transforming most into some of Italy's greatest olive oil. Amazing on its own, their olive oil also shines in their classic sauces like pesto, salsa di noci, and crema di rucola. Paolo will take you through a delicious tasting of the region's culinary heritage and his family's work. And no evening celebrating Liguria would be complete without some of the region's wines!
