6pm-7:30pm -- Virtual Cocktail Hour / Artistic Programming


Have you ever wondered how A Far Cry programs come to be? For this portion of the evening, dive head first into this process during an exclusive session guided by the Criers. But first, AFC violist / mixologist Jason Fisher will kick things off by leading the full group through a cocktail (or mocktail) mixing session. Once everyone has their drink of choice in hand, you'll join your assigned “tables,” or Zoom breakout rooms, with 10 guests and a Crier. The Criers will lead their "table" through a mock programming session of A Far Cry’s democratic process, and you'll create your own concert program submission. We’ll end by coming back together as a full group to vote on which programs are accepted into the “Soiree Program Vault!”
~Please note that no prior musical knowledge or experience is necessary to participate! Space is limited for this portion of the evening, and registration is first-come, first-served.


7:30pm-8:00pm -- Intermission...stretch break!
Take a brief stretch break before tuning back in for the livestreamed program at 8pm!


8pm-8:40pm -- Livestream Program
Sit back, relax, and enjoy our virtual program, streamed directly to your home! During this portion of the event, AFC will present musical selections from the Criers, entertaining “commercial breaks” showcasing our fantastic auction offerings, a message from Criers and some very special guest hellos, and a live Raise the Paddle. Guests are encouraged to keep perusing the online auction and make any final bids before the auction closes and time runs out!

Anytime -- Premiere of A Stradivari Serenade Mini Documentary
All Sponsors and Single Ticket (all access) ticket buyers will receive a private link to view the premiere of a mini documentary featuring A Far Cry's recent concert, A Stradivari Serenade. The documentary goes behind the scenes to explore the making of this event, during which A Far Cry performed its signature work, Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, from memory on 18 of the finest instruments in the world - crafted by the likes of Stradivari, Guarneri, and Amati. The mini documentary includes interviews with the Criers, footage of them choosing their instruments from the vault at Reuning & Son Violins, and clips of their final performance at NEC's Jordan Hall. Guests will receive a permanent link and be invited to watch the documentary at their own leisure!
