The launch of Shirley Willett’s new memoir sets the stage for this lively public conversation. Join us as Boston Fashion Week founder Jay Calderin sits down with Shirley to discuss her 70+ year career in the fashion industry as a designer, manufacturer, engineer, teacher, mentor and innovator. All are invited to continue the conversation during a wine and cheese reception that follows the talk when copies of Shirley Willett’s fashion memoir, Past, Present & Future will be available for purchase and signing.


Shirley Willett’s portrait will be featured in the BCAE’s 85th Anniversary Exhibit, Faces of 1933 from the lens of photographer Joel Benjamin, from August-December in the Canon Gallery.
