Chef Jody Adams, two-time James Beard Award Winner and the culinary vision behind La Padrona, teams up with Executive Chef James Hackney of Maschussetts’ only Forbes Double Five Star dining destination, twenty-eight Atlantic at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club, for a co-hosted coastal Italian and seafood-centric Friends of James Beard dinner. Marrying the best of two Massachusetts dining powerhouses, Chef Hackney’s appreciation for fresh, local seafood and Chef Adams’ world-class take on Italian flavors will take center stage, united by the shared belief that food should create a lasting memory. The four-course dinner with wine pairings promises to be equal parts transportive and unforgettable, showcasing a refined blend of seafood and seasonal ingredients. Highlights of the menu include lobster paired with fennel, saffron, and uni custard, as well as scallop ravioli accompanied by charred cauliflower and sturgeon caviar. A welcome reception will greet guests and lure them into the exquisite dining room. Tickets are limited and priced at $300 per person + tax.
