Perhaps the most beloved of Christmas time stories, please join us for a magical retelling of the Charles Dickens' classic, adapted for the stage! On one Christmas Eve in Victorian London, miserly and humorless Ebeneezer Scrooge is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Yet to Come to push him to change his ways. The three spirits require Scrooge to reflect on memories from his past, take stock of difficult realities of his present, and consider his grim future should he continue his closed-hearted ways. This production is brimming with Christmas Spirit, and includes live music, dance, and much cheer! Directed by Courtney Elkin Mohler, with music direction by Shannon Jacob, this new adaptation of the classic tale features original lyrics by Rick Lombardo, original music by Anna Lackaff and Rick Lombardo, and music arrangements by Anna Lackaff.
Bring a nonperishable food item or toiletry to donate to the Margaret Fuller House if you are able.
Performance dates: 12/4, 12/5, and 12/6 at 7:30pm, 12/7 at 2pm.
