(QUINCY – Dec. 15 – Jan. 22, 2023) Six artists, unique in media, style, and subject, together in a group show of masterful techniques in watercolor, pen & ink, charcoal, pastel, oil, and mixed media. Super-realism figure studies, to acutely detailed landscapes, to re-purposed materials, all provide the viewer with an opportunity to consider the individual creative process as it compares and contrasts against neighboring works. It’s an interesting mix.
Also, in the gallery through January 22 is QAA’s Members Small Works Exhibit. Plus, our artisan gift shop features locally made pottery; one-of-a-kind jewelry; racks of prints; and other handmade items.
Gallery Hours: Thurs. & Fri. 2PM-5PM, Sat. & Sun. Noon-5PM. Free and open to the public. The QArts Gallery is located at 1229 Hancock St., Quincy, MA 02169 (across from Quincy College)
