A winter storm is expected to move into New England early Friday morning bringing 6-12 inches of snow to the area. Snow totals are dependent on the snow/sleet/rain line, which is still unsettled. Local meteorologists are predicting areas north of the Mass Pike will see all snow, while areas south of the Mass Pike will see a wintery mix.
Timing: Snow starts around 4am Friday, 2/25 with the peak of the storm lasting 8-12 hours from about 8am to 6pm. Snowfall rates of an inch per hour or greater are possible.
