The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for most of Massachusetts, including Boston, from early Tuesday morning through late Tuesday night, anticipating a nor'easter that could deliver up to a foot of snow. The storm is expected to start around midnight Tuesday, possibly as rain along the coast, before transitioning to heavy, wet snow overnight, affecting the Tuesday morning commute. Snowfall will intensify through late morning, with conditions improving by evening as the system moves eastward toward the coastline.
