Form, freedom, creative expression, friends and fun! Join our week-long exploration of improv games and activities to expand social skills, teamwork and more! Students will increase their decisiveness and communication skills, sharpen awareness and listening skills, and strengthen their ability to react well to surprises and overcome the fear of failure. This Beginner to Intermediate workshop will be great for both those with no or little improv or acting background. Improvisors will end the week with a performance for family and friends!


Instructor

Shiyanbade Animashaun is a creative and tech consultant who teaches improv in the Boston Public Schools and is a drama instructor at Hanover Conservatory.


Shiyanbade has worked in storytelling / sketch teams, musicals, podcasts, and video productions. She has directed, produced, and taught various improv casts and has led executive training sessions, workshops and classes for 5000+ individuals of all ages. With 10+ years of formal improv training, she believes that care is its greatest lesson.
