43rd Annual Boston Dragon Boat Festival

Dragon boaters, sponsors, and guests mark your calendars, set your alarms, get your paddles, and steering oars ready!!! The Dragonboat Festival takes place on June 12th.

Dragon boat teams from the USA and Canada will compete in an energetic race to the finish line. The teams practice in the spring to prepare for the June races, paddling in sleek, colorful 39-foot-Hong Kong-style dragon boats. Along with dragon boat races, the festival will also present performances from various Asian cultures, food, and arts and crafts representing traditions of this ancient Chinese celebration.

Admission is free and the festival will take place rain or shine.

The location is in Cambridge along the Charles River at the Weeks Footbridge on Memorial Drive between the JFK and Western Avenue Bridges.
