Has a 3D animation ever blown you away? Have you ever thought to yourself, hey, it would be pretty cool to be a 3D animator? Here's your chance to get started.


In this class you will create your own character, loosely based on yourself or a friend, who you will bring to life with color and animation. By the end of this course, you will have the confidence and basic tool set needed to start your journey in becoming the 3D artist you’ve always dreamed of. You will be learning how to use Autodesk Maya, which is a leading 3D animation and design software.


Pre-requisites: Final Cut Pro or Premiere Editing Bootcamp. Although you are not required to have any background at all in 3D animation, it would be helpful to have an understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.


Class is 2 sessions - Sunday & Monday - February 10th & 11th - 6-9pm - with Xia Rondeau
