Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) invites you to an unforgettable evening at the 29th Annual Lesbians & Friends LGBTQIA+ Dance: Halloween Bash for Breast Cancer Prevention. This beloved celebration will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Club Café, Boston’s premier LGBTQIA+ venue.
The evening will kick off with a VIP Party from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, offering an intimate and festive setting featuring a beginner merengue dance lesson led by Liz Nania, founder and director of OUT to Dance, along with complimentary hors d’oeuvres. DJ Christina of San Francisco will provide music throughout the evening. The main celebration follows from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM and will feature an energetic dance floor and a costume contest with prizes.
During the VIP Party, MBCC will honor Rev. Irene Monroe, an African-American lesbian feminist public theologian, preacher, and columnist whose work centers on the intersection of religion, social justice, and LGBTQIA+ rights. Through her writing and public advocacy, she has helped shape national and international dialogue on faith, equality, and human rights. Rev. Monroe is also a longtime volunteer and supporter of the Dance.

• VIP Party, 6PM-8PM: $40 pre-registration / $45 at the door (includes GA entry)
• General Admission, 8PM-11PM: $20
