20x20 Slide Night

Learn about exciting projects or share your own at Hatch's monthly 20x20 Slide Night. Hatch Makerspace is all about idea sharing! Do you have an idea you want to share? A project you're proud of? All makers are invited to share 20 slides or images for 20 seconds apiece, creating a 6m40s presentation on a project of their choice. The only requirement is that the presentation be about making! We cap the night at five presenters. We've had presentations that range from networking sensors to creating a wildlife sanctuary. Arrive at 7pm to include your project in the Slide Night, or arrive a little later to meet fellow makers and enjoy snacks and conversation.

Don't know what a makerspace is? Hatch's model is a public workshop that bridges the gap between expensive equipment and our surrounding community with an emphasis on skill-based learning. Participation details:
-Everyone is welcome to present. All ages, abilities, and subject matter related to making is encouraged.
-All presentations will be timed at 20 seconds per slide. Slides will be cut off at 20.
-Hatch has a projector, screen, and laptop that will be hooked up to the projector. Please bring your presentation in PowerPoint, Preview, or PDF format on a flash drive. Alternatively, you may bring your own laptop with an HDMI port.
