The Tall Ships are returning to Boston Harbor for Sail Boston as part of Sail250, marking the nation’s 250th anniversary (1776–2026). Expect a full waterfront week with the Grand Parade of Sail (ships arriving in flotillas from Broad Sound into the main channel, turning at Charlestown), a harborfront Festival, public ship boarding (at the Captain’s discretion), fireworks, and a Crew & Cadet Street Parade. Best viewing for the Parade of Sail will be along the water from Castle Island, the Seaport District, the Boston Waterfront, East Boston, the North End, and Charlestown.

Ship viewing from the piers is open from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. from July 12-15, and ship boarding is widely welcomed within these windows and at the Captains’ discretion.
