Over the course of our 9 week Summer intensive, we will examine course materials and curated additional resources to gain a clear understanding of yoga history and the real-world application of key philosophical texts.
Through a combination of in person intensive weekends, virtual lectures, practice teaching and group discussion, it is our goal to provide each student with a comprehensive and rewarding experience that will equip them to safely and confidently lead any population with compassion and care. In this 200 Hour Yoga Teacher training you will:
- Learn a teaching methodology that is simple, accessible, and universal to all yoga styles,
- Gain a firm understanding of anatomy and its practical application to poses.
- Learn to sequence and structure classes effectively.
- Practice and teach fundamental meditation and pranayama techniques.
- Explore key philosophical texts (The Yoga Sutra and the Bhagavad Gita and more)
- Participate in specific practices, asana labs, practice teaching, and structured practicums that will deepen your personal practice and elevate your teaching.
