East Cambridge comes alive as the Italian Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian returns for its 101st year — Friday, September 11 through Sunday, September 13, 2026. First celebrated in 1926, this beloved Italian street festival is one of Greater Boston's longest-running feast traditions, blending faith, family, food, and free entertainment across the streets of East Cambridge and Somerville.
All feast entertainment is FREE throughout the weekend. Come hungry and enjoy amusement rides, carnival games, a beer and wine garden, and dozens of vendors serving classic Italian fare — pizza, fried dough, sausage, peppers and onions, cannoli, pasta, fried calamari, cherrystones, arancini, and much more.

Good to know: Admission is free — there are no tickets. Purchases are made directly with vendors, and not all vendors accept cards, so bring cash. Free parking is available during Feast hours at Twin City Plaza and the Target Plaza on Somerville Ave (posted areas only), as well as on-street. The full 2026 entertainment lineup and detailed schedule will be announced on the Society's website.
