Calling all brunch lovers! From authentic mountain Greek cuisine to fusion dim sum brunch and plant-based pleasures, peruse our picks for all the unique, must-try brunches around the city.

1) Bar Vlaha

Why is it unique? Where else in Boston can you savor authentic mountain Greek cuisine? Bar Vlaha captures the essence of Hellenic cooking with nomadic traditions, locally sourced ingredients, and open-fire gastra techniques, bringing the warmth of old-world hospitality to your table in Brookline. P/S: This restaurant was just named #4 on Boston Magazine’s Top 50 Restaurants in Boston list.

2) Trina’s Starlite Lounge

Why is it unique? If you're in the service industry, you probably know about Monday Service Industry Brunch at Trina's Starlite Lounge. If you're not in the service industry, you probably know Trina on Monday is the place to be. Although it looks like a dive bar, the food tastes like an upscale restaurant. So arrive hungry and thirsty.

3) Woods Hill Pier 4

Why is it unique? Enjoy the harbor views wherever you’re seated. The dishes are not only delicious but also feature sustainably locally and organically sourced ingredients. Pro tip: the lobster popover is arguably one of the best lobster dishes in Boston.

4) Lone Star Taco Bar

Why is it unique? The laid-back and cozy vibe, the affordable and scrumptious Mexican street food, and the refreshing margaritas make Lone Star one of our favorite restaurants in the city. What makes it even better is that they serve brunch all day, every day.

5) Lulu Green

Why is this unique? Café by day, restaurant by night, cocktails all day? Count us in. A plant-based brunch that tastes nothing like vegan food. Boston needs more quality, made-from-scratch vegan restaurants like this, but for now, find us at Lulu Green’s weekend brunch.

6) Comfort Kitchen

Why is it unique? Comfort Kitchen, a Black-owned, immigrant-owned, and woman-owned business, transforms from a daytime cafe to a nighttime restaurant with a full bar, celebrating the diverse flavors and ingredients of the African diaspora in a global comfort food journey connected from Asia to the Americas.

7) Myers+Chang

Why is this unique? Joanne Chang's funky South End spot has just what you want in 2024: Dim Sum Brunch. The hip diner ambiance sets the perfect stage for enjoying Asian-inspired family-style small plates.

7) Rosebud Bar & Kitchen

Why is it unique? If you've heard about the Rosebud controversies in the past few months, then you probably know that it now serves Indian-fusion cuisine. Needless to say, an Indian brunch is hard to find in the city. Our team went recently and enjoyed yummy dishes like Butter Chicken Benny and Tikka Tots in the good ol' classic diner car.

8) Waverly Kitchen & Bar

Why is it unique? Charlestown is home to many cute and cozy neighborhood restaurants, and Waverly is one of them. Brunch starts at 8am, and you can get it any day of the week.

9) Grace by Nia

Why is it unique? You can count on one hand the number of brunch spots with live music in Boston, and Jazz Brunch at Grace by Nia is one of them. Enjoy the soul-infused menu and smooth live jazz at this modern-day supper club in the heart of the Seaport.

10) Carrie Nation Cocktail Club

Why is it unique? Sunday funday at this swanky 1920s-inspired setting with a buffet brunch, followed by an interactive drag show featuring cocktail specials and a post-show photo-op with the queens themselves.
