Description
This fall we’re pairing up with Third Piece, a Boston based and female-founded knitwear brand designing hand-made collections that are “Made by Us or Made by You.” Their mission is to reinvent the craft of knitting through innovative and modern designs you can make and wear.

Let some of New England’s most talented knitters show you the ropes (or the yarn) during this Learn to Knit Sesh. In class, you will learn the basics: Slipknot, Cast On, Knit Stitch, Joining, Binding Off, and other finishing techniques.

Choose between learning how to make an ear warmer headband or a coozie for your favorite mug, using Third Piece needles and 100% Merino wool (all materials are provided). Two equally cozy items, if you ask us!

Why learn how to knit? Well, we’ve heard the stress relief and therapeutic benefits are real. You can make something to wear, or you can make something to share. Lastly, this creative activity is fun to do by yourself or with a group of friends.

No knitting experience is required to take this class, either. Everyone’s welcome and beers, wine, and snacks are included. Come one, come all!
