Love rosé, afternoons on the water, and experiences like no other? Look no further than Sesh’s Rosé & Raw Bar Cruise hitting the harbor this summer! Reserve the last Saturday of July to claim your spot on the Music City Queen Showboat as we take an illuminating deep dive into the world of rosé.
You’ll be tasting 10+ rosés via Martignetti Companies' United and Carolina divisions, such as the Smoke Tree Rosé, the Chateau de Berne Cotes de Provence Emotion Rosé, and the Elouan 2017 Rosé. Martignetti is the leading distributor of wines & spirits in New England and the seventh largest distributor in the United States.
Now, let’s talk about the raw bar, shall we? Atlantic Fish Co. will be serving a mouth-watering Halibut Ceviche dish (citrus-marinated, fresh Atlantic halibut, avocado, tomato, and house-made tortilla chips) as well as their Chef’s selection of Cape Cod oysters (provided by North Coast Seafoods).
When you hop on board, you’ll receive a rosé card to help guide you through this wine tasting experience. Your card will take you to select regions where you’ll learn about each rosés’ climate, soil type, pH level and more.
As our wine guide, Kathryn McTyre, will tell you, there’s more to the popular drink than simply ordering something pink. McTyre is a public relations specialist in Boston who developed a special interest in the wine community while traveling to five continents (and counting). She’s thrilled to share her passion and knowledge for tasting with attendees.
15 wine tasting tickets are included in the package, but who would say “no” to a few more? You'll have a chance to unlock extra tickets throughout the afternoon. From bottle-hoisting challenges to social experiments, we promise you’ll leave this Sesh with a newfound sophistication about all things rosé and perhaps new sipping pals.
Assortments of light bites such as charcuterie, cheeses, bread & olive oil, and other snacks will also be provided along with DoubleTree Suites’ Famous DoubleTree chocolate chip walnut cookies courtesy of Double Tree Hilton Hotel Boston - Cambridge. And, to keep good vibes afloat all afternoon, DJ J-Wall will be spinning tracks on the top deck while you soak up the sun.
