Hope Floats Healing and Wellness Center in Kingston, MA is thrilled to host Irish-born author Aine Greaney to lead an in-person wellness writing workshop, "Writing Your Way Toward Wellness, Recovery and Self-Empowerment."  


This workshop will inspire attendees to get and keep writing for their everyday wellness, recovery and self-empowerment. To date, over 300 clinical studies have shown the benefits of writing for better health. 


"Emotional or expressive writing is not about being a 'good' or 'clever' writer," says Greaney. "Instead, it’s about using writing as part of your self-care toolbox. Now, as we enter the pandemic's third year, we need to expand our routes to self-care and recovery."


The two-hour session will include brief, teaching and discussion, fun writing prompts, in session writing exercises and optional sharing. Participants will be given guidelines for starting their own wellness writing practice at home. 

The program is perfect for beginners, reluctant writers and anyone who wants to explore writing and journaling as a route to self-reflection and connection or as a way to plan for next life steps. This workshop is in person at the Hope Floats location in Kingston.
