The Anchor invites anyone, regardless of experience, to participate in an instructor-led watercolor painting class on Wednesday, September 22nd from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.
Norris Strawbridge, a Navy Yard resident, and watercolor artist will guide the sessions by beginning each gathering with a quick 15-minute demonstration of a specific watercolor technique. Everyone can then proceed to work at their own pace. After an hour, we will convene to discuss our efforts. Norris will offer suggestions to those who ask for assistance as their paintings progress.
For those who are new to watercolors, we will provide all the required supplies. Experienced painters are encouraged to bring their own materials.
