Events are hosted by a member of the BostonYPA Leadership Team. The goal of these virtual events is to efficiently bring together busy, social, young professionals who understand the importance of networking and growing their connections. Format and Agenda:
5:45pm: Your Host will log in and be online early for anyone that wants to pop in early, check their lighting, troubleshoot their sound, or ask questions.
6pm: Networking begins! We’ll kick off by taking turns to introduce ourselves. Bring your elevator pitch - those that are logged in for the kick off will have 30 seconds to introduce themselves to the group.
6:15: We'll utilize breakout rooms so that you can have a chance to speak to everyone in attendance, similar to how you'd make your way around a networking event to introduce yourself. Each breakout room will have 2-4 young professionals, where you can introduce yourself, talk a bit about what you do, and exchange ideas.
Every 8-10 minutes, your host will rotate the attendees of the breakout rooms, so that you keep meeting new people. You may see someone familiar later in the evening
7pm: The breakout rooms will close, and we'll all be back in the main meeting room to recap and have a lively group conversation about topics of interest,
7:30 - we'll wrap up, pull our door prize winner, and every attendee will receive a recap email containing the links to LinkedIn profiles of those you met, so you can stay connected.
