Tiki 101 with Todd Maul
On Saturday, January 21 at 4:00pm, Cafe ArtScience Bar Director/Partner, Todd Maul will host the first of a series of spirited cocktail classes. An avid rum enthusiast, his first one-hour class at the Cafe ArtScience bar will give guests a rundown on all things tiki, including a brief overview of the history of tiki drinks, rum suggestions for the home bar, tiki cocktail theory, and background on Maul’s preferred rum varieties, including Rhum Agricole, found in many of his signature cocktails at Cafe ArtScience. Guests will have the opportunity to taste a flight of unique aged, white and navy strength rums and learn to recreate one of Maul’s favorite tiki cocktails at home. Complimentary bar snacks will be provided as well.
