The Sunflower Series (featuring Billy Dean Thomas, Genie Santiago, Shellz, Amanda Shea, and Naomi Westwater)

The Sunflower Series is an annual performance series created by Boston musician, artivist and poet, Genie Santiago, that is aimed at creating a safe space for artists allowing them to experience intimate bonds with their audience using performance and storytelling. The series has featured local artists Brandie Blaze, Jazzmyn Red, Dj WhySham, Red Shaydez, Terry Borderline, Payal Kumar, Anais Azul, Ava Sophia, and Tashawn Taylor. Sunflower series is collaborating with Creatives of Color Boston for this summer show. Creatives of Color BOSTON's work is centered around celebrating artists of color in the Greater Boston area and providing intersectional safe spaces for them.

This Sunflower Series event celebrates the beauty of summer, nature, and aims to revive the Boston live music scene we all miss and love so much. This event will feature a performance from Billy Dean Thomas, Genie Santiago, Shellz, Naomi Westwater, and Amanda Shea! There will also be food, drinks, and BIPOC artist vendors at our late night market.
