About this Event
Join us for a hands-on cooking class and learn how to make Gỏi cuốn, Vietnamese spring roll or summer roll. Though a popular appetizer, it is a full meal usually dedicated for family gatherings such as birthday parties, holiday parties, and other festive occasions. The traditional spring roll consists of pork, shrimp, vegetables, and vermicelli wrapped in rice paper.
You’ll learn all the tips and tricks of wrapping and rolling spring rolls during this class. We'll show you how to make three different types of spring rolls - the traditional pork and shrimp, nem nuong (Vietnamese ham), a vegetarian roll, and the sauces that goes along with them. Best of all, you'll take home a spring roll making kit and the recipes!
Our guest speaker is SA PA’s owner, Ky Nguyen.
