Well, the days of warm sunny hiking days are behind us, so time to embrace winter! Saturday should be a perfect 32 and sunny. Wachusett is making their own snow and we're getting more this week. Last time I skied was during the Bush administration, so I will be on the green slopes most likely. Ideally we get a group of similar skill level (skied once or twice before) so we can go together, but if we end up with a few subgroups up there that's fine too.


I called ahead and they are only selling tickets one week at a time on this page so we can buy them when they go on sale Friday morning. She said they go quick, so you'll need to be on it. I suggest setting a reminder to pick up your pass. They are selling them in "sessions" and we'll be doing "session 2" (12-345p). Make sure you buy the right lift ticket. You can put in for ski rental when you buy the ticket.
