What are the current trends in the New England economy and what can we expect in the future? Come join members of the NSTC and others to hear Osborne Jackson, PhD., Senior Economist, New England Public Policy Center, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston discuss the latest in employment figures, what type of jobs are growing, where the highest wages are, and how the economy is faring since the last recession. In addition to looking at the current economic picture, Dr. Jackson will look to the future and speak to what, if any, probabilities there are of a recession.

Osborne Jackson is a senior economist at the New England Public Policy Center in the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Research Department. His research interests include labor economics and urban and regional economics. Jackson earned his BA in economics from Harvard University and his MA and PhD in economics from the University of Michigan. Before joining the bank in 2015, he was an assistant professor of economics at Northeastern University.
